He could have been a children's book illustrator, there's something very friendly and positive about the drawing(s).

I tried to re-read "Narziss and Goldmund" this summer, which was a favourite of mine when I was young, but it's totally lost its appeal to me.

The article is only readable for subscribers, btw.

hmm... am I subscribed to it? I didn't know it.

Update: I am _not_ subscribed, but apparently the articles in English are open in the first days after the Hebrew edition. Then one must really subscribe.
